:) Great shots of the house (flies) and good after effects later in the mirror.
BEN MARKS:"I ENJOYED THE EERIE ATMOSPHERE WHICH ADDED TENSION" RATING: 8/10
HERMIONE CAMERON:" GOOD FEELING OF SUSPENSE THROUGH THE EMPTY SHOTS. THE SLAMMING DOORS WERE VERY CREEPY. STEPH WAS A VERY GOOD ACTRESS SHE WAS VERY CONVINCING AND HAD THE RIGHT LOOK FOR THE PART. I LIKED THE AFTER EFFECTS USED IN THE MIRROR AT THE END. MY ONLY CRITICISM IS THAT THE SINK AREA COULD LOOK MORE RUN DOWN AND GRIMEY" RATING: 8/10
BELLA COX: "I REALLY LIKED THE FLY SHOT AND IT REPRESENTED THE DERELICT HOUSE WELL. THE SLAMMING DOORS WERE WELL DONE I COULDN'T SEE HOW YOU DID IT" RATING:7/10
LEO FAULKS: "THE OPENING SHOTS OF THE HOUSE SET THE SCENE WELL. I REALLY LIKED THE FLY SHOT. THERE WAS A GOOD USE OF LIGHTING IT WAS NATURAL IN A CREEPY KIND OF WAY. I LIKED IT WHEN THE DOORS SLAMMED CAUSING A CHANGE IN LIGHTING. THE ACTRESSES REACTION TO THE BLOOD IS NOT VERY CONVINCING. THE TITLES COULD HAVE MORE EFFECTS. 7/10
MILLIE SHERRING: "THE FLY SHOT WAS REALLY CLEVER. I ALSO REALLY LIKED THE LAST SHOT OF THE FOOTAGE WITH THE ALTERED REFLECTION, I WAS NT EXPECTING IT. WELL DONE!" RATING: 9/10
ADAM GRANT: "I REALLY ENJOYED WATCHING OTHERS REACTIONS WHILST WATCHING PRESENCE, LOTS OF PEOPLE ARE ON THE EDGE OF THEIR SEATS. I AM NOT KEEN ON THE SNEAK AROUND THE DOOR AS I THINK A PRESENCE WOULDN'T NEED TO PEEK ROUND A DOOR. THE TITLE POSITIONING WAS VERY WELL THOUGHT OUT. I ALSO LOVED THE SOUND AND BACKING TRACK" RATING 9/10

What kind of media institution might distribute my media product (thriller) and why? TASK 3
Our thriller is a low budget, small-scale film that has not required a lot of special effects or CGI. Due to this the budget does not allow us to spend a lot of money on the distribution so only small scale companies can be hired to distribute the horror film.
The film has only been chosen to play in select cinemas and so doesn’t need to go to far so that will lower costs, but it is not a big scale film and so the big companies such as Warner bros would not want to get involved. Smaller companies that would be sure to make the money they want will take on the job. Small independent distribution companies situated in the UK will be used but they need to be interested in the movie and believe that the money can be made on it in order for them to be successful as well as us the producer, director etc.
It might be that the company that is making and producing the film have their own distribution system and so they do not need to worry about that aspect of the project but most likely the company will need outside help on handing the movie out to the individual cinemas around the country or if they are big scale then the world. So the small independent distribution company that will distribute my thriller will want to because we will do surveys to produce data that proves enough people would want to go and see it in order to make enough money back on it to cover the budget and to make profit which ensures that the company will make the money they require to distribute the movie as far as possible to the selected cinemas.
