they fit into a number of genres next to the genres i have given examples of other bands in these genres:



Dance-punk - the rapture, yeah yeah yeah's

Electro house - paris avenue, bodyrox

Indie rock - modest mouse, MGMT

Synthpop - owl city, phoenix

New Rave - shitdisco, new young pony club

Does it offend you, yeah? is compared to muse by nme as they have a heavier more 'live' sound.
they are also compared to bands such as justice and daft punk.
