Treatment summarizing the content of your music video

The pop video content was based around the lyrics. The few lyrics that are in the video hit on the subject of technology and communication using computers, phones and websites such as facebook, myspace etc. So the group decided to use the idea of technology and how it is growing and becoming advanced. We decided to use the idea of a after party picture search. The idea that the day after a party pictures and comments are on social networking sites and participants of the party and more look through these pictures to see what happened and what bits they missed.

We based our content on a mysterious man who meets a girl at this party which is said to be the best party of the year. He looks at his memories which he manages to put up on to a huge screen and he looks through pictures, documents, and websites and so on till he finds her. This action comes in and out of the video while the rest of the video is at the party. The band are playing in a performance room and we have various different shot types in that room. Again we are brought back to the man looking through these pictures and then to a new room. We have in total four Different main rooms, then a couple of plain rooms around a house plus the man and the screen. There is the UV (Ultra Violet) room. Here there are some dancers covered neatly in glow paint to make the stand out and then the drums play in this room with glow paint on them and so when they are hit the paint goes everywhere.

Then the lighting room. It has been given this name due to the fact it has flashing white lights in it. It also is called the dry ice room as the floor is covered by dry ice to give the swirl effect of the smoke. In this room the band occasionally play as well as the dancers, dancing in there. Our final main room is called the mirror room. This room has several different mirrors in it all over the place whether they are on the wall or the floor and is lit up by flashing lights and hopefully lasers. As for the rooms around the house we decided to do a bedroom, bathroom and room full of beanbags. The action in all the rooms are fairly similar in terms that there are people chilling out in them, mabey even drinking or pretending to drugs.

This is the overall content of our pop video so far for our first storyboard. If it changes dramatically there will be a new post on the new storyboard and its new featuring contents.
